A bill to amend Part 3 of Article 4 of Chapter 11 of Title 16 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to the carrying and possession of firearms, so as to change the applicability of certain provisions of the law relating to the issuance of licenses to former law enforcement officers to carry a pistol or revolver; to provide that Code Sections 16-11-126 through 16-11-128 shall not apply to or affect sheriffs, retired sheriffs, deputy sheriffs, or certain retired deputy sheriffs.

A bill to amend Part 5 of Article 3 of Chapter 5 of Title 12 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, the "Georgia Safe Drinking Water Act of 1977," so as to change certain definitions; to extend the duration of permits for operation of public water systems; to provide that the director of the Environmental Protection Division of the Department of Natural Resources shall require compliance by privately owned public water systems with certain conditions prior to issuance of a permit.

A bill to amend Code Section 36-82-1 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to election for bonded debt, so as to provide that bond elections shall be held on the date of the November general election except under certain circumstances; to amend Code Section 21-3-11 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to calling of municipal bond elections, so as to provide that bond elections shall be held on the date of the November general election except under certain circumstances.

A bill to amend Chapter 80 of Title 36 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to local government in general, so as to prohibit the employment of illegal aliens on public works for the state or any authority, county, municipality, school district, or other local government unit or political subdivision; to provide for an oath relative to the employment of illegal aliens on such public works; to provide for a penalty.
