A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 2 of Title 47 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to the Employees' Retirement System of Georgia, so as to provide that certain employees who are required to be members of the Employees' Retirement System of Georgia and who were former members of the Teachers Retirement System of Georgia with at least nine years, seven months, and 30 days of membership service may elect to remain members of the Teachers Retirement System of Georgia; to provide for related matters; to provide conditions for an effective date and automatic repeal; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Part 1 of Article 11 of Chapter 2 of Title 21 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to general provisions regarding preparation for and conduct of primaries and elections, so as to provide that the election superintendent of a county may permit any elector of the county to vote in any precinct of the county which such elector chooses in a primary, election, or runoff under certain conditions; to provide for certain notices; to authorize the promulgation of rules and regulations; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 1 of Chapter 2 of Title 45 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to general provisions regarding eligibility and qualifications for office, so as to provide for legislative findings; to provide that certain municipalities and counties may require law enforcement officers employed by the municipality or county to reside within the municipality or county; to provide for related matters; to provide an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 1 of Chapter 10 of Title 17 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to procedure for sentencing and imposition of punishment, so as to repeal certain provisions regarding the sentencing of defendants for crimes involving bias or prejudice; to provide criteria for imposition of punishment for defendants who select their victims based upon certain biases or prejudices; to provide the sanctions for such crimes; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
