Retail technology firm Aptos Inc. has said it has chosen Buckhead in Atlanta as its international headquarters. The company creates cloud-based software which helps retailers improve efficiency and cost management. Aptos has leased more than 17,000 square feet of space at the Resurgens Plaza office tower in Buckhead. The company employs nearly 90 at its Atlanta headquarters, with plans to boost its local workforce by up to 20 percent soon. In the past two years, Aptos (formerly Epicor Retail Solutions) acquired retail analytics provider QuantiSense and e-commerce startup ShopVisible, both Atlanta-based.
Robins Air Force Base has announced plans to add 200 jobs across the base in Warner Robins. The positions to be filled are existing vacant positions that have been on hold due to budget cuts. The new positions are an addition to the 200 new aircraft maintainers that were previously announced.

Note: Information in New Developments are from a variety of public sources and by no means are a comprehensive listing of new and expanding business in Georgia
