Georgia Department of Labor to help AAFES recruit workers at Fort Benning
ATLANTA The Georgia Department of Labor's Columbus Career Center will help AAFES fill about 25 job openings for part-time food service workers at Fort Benning.
The company will be taking applications and conducting on-site interviews Thursday, March 13, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the career center, located at 700 Veterans Parkway in Columbus.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or a General Education Diploma (GED), be prepared for on-site interviews, and be ready to complete company on-line applications.
The company will conduct criminal background checks on selected applicants. Since the company trains its employees, no prior food service experience is necessary. The salary range is $7.30 an hour.
