Georgia Department of Labor to help Almar Housekeepers recruit workers
ATLANTA The Georgia Department of Labor's Columbus Career Center will help Almar Housekeepers of Arlington, Texas, fill about 20 hotel and hospitality jobs with part-time and temporary full-time personnel. The company staffs hotels at Callaway Gardens, Peachtree City, and Greensboro. The company will be taking applications and conducting on-site interviews Friday, January 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the career center, located at 700 Veterans Parkway in Columbus. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have at least six months of experience in the hotel and hospitality industry. The positions include housekeeping, waiters and waitresses, bartenders, and maintenance workers. Salaries range from $7 to $12 an hour, based on experience and position.
