Georgia Department of Labor to help Traco recruit workers in Bainbridge
ATLANTA The Georgia Department of Labor's Bainbridge Career Center will help Traco Corporation fill about 60 job openings at its manufacturing facility in Decatur County. The company is a designer and manufacturer of commercial and residential windows and doors.
"We're pleased to be working with Traco Corporation to fill jobs available at their manufacturing plant," said State Labor Commissioner Michael Thurmond. "This is a great opportunity for job seekers in the Bainbridge area. I encourage all those interested to apply."
The recruitment will be held Thursday, Nov. 1, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Performing Arts Building near the Boat Basin on Earl May Circle in Bainbridge. The recruiting process is open to the public.
The company is recruiting for machine operators and assembly-line and warehouse workers. Administrative candidates may submit resumes for future consideration.
Applicants must have a high school diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate and a minimum of six months experience in manufacturing, production, processing or warehousing work.
The company will conduct a pre-employment drug and background investigation into all applicants prior to hiring. Upon hiring, the company offers a competitive salary and good benefits to its employees.
