NORTHEAST GEORGIA AREA JOB FAIR SET FOR WEDNESDAY, MAY 17

ATLANTA -- State Labor Commissioner Michael Thurmond said today that the Georgia Department of Labor, along with area veterans groups and a local development authority, will cosponsor a job fair in Toccoa later this month.

The job fair, which is co-sponsored by the Stephens County Development Authority, the American Legion Post 104 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 4346, will be held Wednesday, May 17, from 1-4 p.m. at the Leon Williams VFW Post No. 4346 at 331 West Savannah St. in Toccoa.

Openings include full and part-time jobs for professional, technical, managerial, clerical and skilled construction workers.

Applicants should bring several resumes, dress appropriately, and be prepared to interview.
