LABOR DEPARTMENT TO SPONSOR CAMDEN YOUTH JOB FAIR MARCH 30
ATLANTA -- State Labor Commissioner Michael Thurmond said today that the Georgia Department of Labor's Kings Bay office, along with several organizations in Camden County, will sponsor a Youth Job Fair later this month in Kingsland.
The job fair will be held on Thursday, March 30, from 5-7:30 p.m. at Camden County High School on Colerain Road. It will be sponsored in conjunction with the high school's Youth Apprenticeship Program, the American Business Women's Association, the Camden-Kings Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, the Family Service Center's Employment Assistance Program, and the Kings Bay Employer Committee.
The job fair will be open to the general public, but will be targeting young people between the ages of 15 and 22, who reside in Camden, Charlton and Glynn counties in Georgia and Nassau County, Fla., to interview with employers from throughout the area.
