LABOR DEPARTMENT TO HOLD JOB FAIR FOR NEW BELK'S IN GWINNETT
ATLANTA -- State Labor Commissioner Michael Thurmond said today that the Georgia Department of Labor will sponsor a job fair to fill more than 100 positions at the new Belk's department store in Gwinnett County, which is scheduled to open in early March.
The job fair will be held from 10 a.m.- 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, at the store, which is located at 2059 Scenic Highway in Snellville.
Job openings include full-time and part-time positions. The store has openings for sales personnel in women's, men's, children's and home departments, as well as cosmetics and shoes. The jobs will pay from $7.50 to $12 per hour, depending on experience.
Applicants should bring their work history or resume and be prepared to interview.
