LABOR DEPARTMENT'S KINGS BAY OFFICE RECRUITING CENSUS TAKERS
ATLANTA -- The Georgia Department of Labor's office in Camden County is trying to help the U.S. Census Bureau fill a number of positions for census takers in the Kings Bay area. A national census is scheduled for April 2000.
The census bureau will be testing applicants for enumerators at the labor department's office at 1712 Osborne Road, Suite L, in St. Marys on the following dates: Monday through Wednesday, Jan. 3-5, 8:30 a.m.-noon; Thursday, Jan. 6, from 1-4 p.m.; Friday, Jan. 7, 8:30 a.m.-noon; and Saturdays, Jan. 15, Jan. 29, and Feb. 5, at 10 a.m.
