LABOR DEPARTMENT TO RECRUIT FOR SUPER BOWL AT JOB FAIR AT GREENBRIAR MALL ON NOVEMBER 13
ATLANTA -- The Georgia Department of Labor and Contemporary Services Corp. will participate in a job fair at Greenbriar Mall next week to help fill more than 2,000 temporary jobs for the Super Bowl, scheduled to be held Jan. 30 in Atlanta.
The job fair, sponsored by the Atlanta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, a local service organization, will be held Saturday, Nov. 13, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at 2841 Greenbriar Parkway.
Contemporary Services Corp. is the temporary employment agency for Super Bowl XXXIV. During the week leading up to the Super Bowl, the company will provide security for all official National Football League (NFL) property and events, such as team practices, players association meetings, youth clinics, press conferences and hotel activities. On game day, the company will handle crowd management, access control and security for the game itself.
In addition to security personnel, some of the openings include jobs as ticket sellers and takers, ushers, supervisors and staff for various events.
Applicants should bring their work history or resume and be prepared to interview.
In addition to recruiting for the Super Bowl, the labor department will also offer registration for services and information on other labor department services.
