FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE DEKALB COUNTY JOB FAIR SET FOR TUESDAY, JUNE 2
ATLANTA -- State Labor Commissioner Marti Fullerton said today the Georgia Department of Labor will sponsor a job fair in Avondale Estates, Tuesday, June 2. The job fair is for veterans and active-duty soldiers in DeKalb, Fulton, Rockdale and Gwinnett counties.
The job fair will be held from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at American Legion Post 66 at 30 Covington Road in Avondale Estates. The oneday event is expected to draw about 30 employers and 200 applicants from the area.
Personnel of the labor department will be on hand to answer any questions about career counseling or employment services available from the agency.
