NAMED STATE LABOR DEPARTMENT'S
J. WILLIE ROUNDTREE AWARD WINNER
ATLANTA -- Nancy Arp, center, administrative secretary in the Georgia Department of Labor's Northwest Georgia office in Fort Oglethorpe, has won second place in the department's J. Willie Roundtree Employee Performance Award in the clerical category. The award recognizes outstanding and conscientious service in the field of employment security rendered by an individual through excellence and the diligent, dependable and trustworthy performance of assigned duties in one of the department's 53 offices statewide. The award was presented by Ken Hain, left, of Atlanta, president of the Georgia Chapter of the International Association of Personnel in Employment Security, at the organization's 55th annual educational conference held recently at Jekyll Island. Dot Hale, right, is the office manager.
