WINS GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF LABOR AWARD
ATLANTA -- Deborah Wilbourn, left, of Phenix City, Ala., a service specialist in the re-employment unit at the Georgia Department of Labor's Columbus office, has won the department's J. Willie Roundtree Employee Performance Award in the professional category. The award recognizes outstanding and conscientious service in the field of employment security rendered by an individual through excellence and the diligent, dependable and trustworthy performance of assigned duties in one of the department's 53 offices statewide. The award was presented by State Labor Commissioner Marti Fullerton, center, at the 55th annual educational conference of the Georgia Chapter of the International Association of Personnel in Employment Security (IAPES), held recently at Jekyll Island. Ms. Wilbourn was nominated for the award by her co-worker, Cil DeHart, right.
