WINS STATE LABOR DEPARTMENT'S

GEORGIA IAPES CHAPTER AWARD

ATLANTA -- Mary O'Connell, left, a disabled veteran outreach program specialist in the Georgia Department of Labor's North Metro Atlanta office, was named first place winner in the department's Chapter Activity Awards competition. The award is given annually for an effective exchange of ideas relating to the field of employment security through area institutes held throughout the state. The award is presented by Mary Williams, right, of Atlanta, on behalf of the Georgia Chapter of the International Association of Personnel in Employment Security at the 55th annual educational conference held recently at Jekyll Island.
