FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE JIM CHEEK OF YELLOW FREIGHT SYSTEM WINS
VETERAN'S BEST FRIEND AWARD
ATLANTA -- Jim Cheek, right, the distribution center manager of the Marietta terminal of Yellow Freight System, accepts the Veteran's Best Friend Award. The award is given annually to the individual who best exemplifies outstanding quality service to veterans service programs in Georgia. The recipient must also work outside veteran specialty programs. The award was presented by Ward Gibbons, left, chairman of veterans activities for IAPES, at the 55th annual educational conference of the Georgia Chapter of the International Association of Personnel in Employment Security (IAPES), held recently at Jekyll Island.
