FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE GWINNETT COUNTY JOB FAIR SET FOR APRIL 13
ATLANTA -- State Labor Commissioner Marti Fullerton said today the Georgia Department of Labor and the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce are sponsoring a job fair at the Atlanta Marriott Gwinnett Place on Monday, April 13, from 2-7 p.m. The hotel is located at 1775 Pleasant Hill Road in Duluth, which is near exit 40 off Interstate 85.
"The job fair is an excellent opportunity for people to get a job now with some of Atlanta's leading companies," Fullerton said. "I encourage people who need a job, or who want a better one, to attend the job fair."
More than 65 employers are expected to participate in the job fair. Those already committed include: Marriott, Federal Express, Promina Health Systems, Delta Airlines, Wachovia Bank, Home Depot corporate, Honey Baked Ham, Randstad, UPS, the Georgia Dome, MCI, Precision Planning, WIKA Instruments, Sam's Club, Stone Mountain Park, Data Matrix, Sherwin Williams, Volt Services, Pride Professional, Sears, Staffing Solutions, Network Communications, Spalding, Georgia Blue, Argen Bright, SmithKline Labs, RPS, L-3 Communications, Atlanta Casualty, IQI Services, Duron Paints, Six Flags, Harris Teeter, Lake Lanier Islands, Grizzard Advertising, Frito-Lay, Lithonia Lighting, Georgia Pacific, MARTA, Georgia Lottery, ATS, Borg Warner, First Union Bank, Southern Talent, Arthur Andersen, Ciba Vision, Chateau Elan, Ricoh Eelectronics, and Fitness International.
Openings include full and part-time openings for professional, technical, managerial, clerical and skilled labor.
Applicants should bring several resumes, dress appropriately, and be prepared to interview.
