FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE LABOR DEPARTMENT HOLDS JOB FAIR FOR AIRTRAN AIRLINES
ATLANTA -- State Labor Commissioner Marti Fullerton said today the Georgia Department of Labor will sponsor a series of job fairs in April at the Ramada Inn-Downtown, 70 John Wesley Dobbs Ave., to fill more than 200 full-time and part-time positions for Airtran Airlines.
On Tuesday, April 7, and Tuesday, April 14, the airline will recruit ramp agents. Applicants must report before 9 a.m., and the process will last until approximately 3 p.m.
On Wednesday, April 8 and Wednesday, April 15, the airline will recruit for ticket-counter and gate agents. Applicants must report before 9 a.m., and the process will last until approximately 3 p.m.
On Saturday, April 11, Thursday, April 16 and Saturday, April 25, the airline will recruit reservation agents for its Atlanta office. Applicants must report before 9 a.m., and the process will last until approximately 3 p.m.
All applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and successfully complete a 10-year background check and a drug screening.
