Certificate-of-Need Tracking Repoi:t tracks the status of applications for Certificates-of-Need throughout the review process and includes such inforn;.ation as the applicant or facility's name, project description, estimated project cost, and the project's location. It also identifies appropriate dates affecting the application, such as the filing date and the deadline for the Planning Division's decision.

Status of Certificate-of-Need Appeals Report tracks both the administrative and judicial appeals process.

WELCOME! The Division of Health Planning (DHP) would like to extend a warm welcome to Mr. George Newby, Jr. as the new director for the Division. Newby, who starts August 7 worked for Atlanta Medical Center since 1995, most recently as director of business development and was employed previously by Grady Health System. He graduated from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and earned a Master's of Public Health from Yale University. He is a fellow of the Am~rican College of Healthcare Executives and serves on the board of directors of Senior Connections and Parent to Parent of Georgia.
