August's Sunday Matinee: Papa said, "We should never forget."
Free screening! Visit Anne Frank in the World every month for free screenings of short films and documentaries. On August 18 at 1pm, join us for a screening of Papa said, "We should never forget."
(Georgia Public Broadcasting) Papa said, "We should never forget." is the true story of World War II's unlikeliest heroes, including one young girl who, with her family and fellow villagers, put their lives on the line to assist the Allied soldiers in the fight for freedom. Inertia Films presents a Salute America, Inc. production in association with The Museum of Aviation in Warner Robbings, Georgia. Students decorate two new trunks for Holocaust Learning Trunk Project
Under the instruction of educator Lesley McClendon, students of The Marist School's Reach for Excellence Program decorated two trunks for the 2013-2014 Holocaust Learning Trunk Project. The artwork on each trunk highlights two inspiring stories of hope and defiance to Nazi oppression. The trunks will join 18 others, filled with educational materials, and distributed throughout the state. Read more...
"Witness to the Holocaust" 2013 Library Tour
The Georgia Commission on the Holocaust in partnership with the Georgia Public Library Service is bringing the travelling exhibit "Witness to the Holocaust: WWII Veteran William Alexander Scott III at Buchenwald" to libraries throughout the state from May to November of 2013.

Visiting exhibit "Reflections through the lens and back"
The Georgia Commission on the Holocaust is hosting the Am Yisrael Chai! exhibition "Reflections Through the Lens and Back" at Anne Frank in the World: 1929-1945 in Sandy Springs through September 24th. The exhibit highlights some of partisan and photographer Faye Schulman's incredible photographs and more recent paintings. Click here for more information.
