Last week on display! "Beyond Rosie: Women in World War II"
Free admission! Visit Anne Frank in the World to see the exhibit on loan from Kennesaw State University's Museum of History and Holocaust Education. The exhibit is on display until December 7, 2013. Click here for hours and directions.

Beyond Rosie explores how World War II impacted the everyday social, cultural, and economic realities of life for women in the United States. The exhibition also highlights individual stories within larger topics including women in the military services, the Holocaust, labor unions, the USO, and resistance and sabotage missions.

12/10/13 Remembering and Teaching the Holocaust in the 21st Century
Join the Canadian Consulate General of Atlanta, Georgia Commission on the Holocaust and the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 for a special partnership event. Keynote speaker Dr. Mario Silva, Chair (Canada) of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance, and a panel of international and regional experts will discuss the Holocaust and relevant lessons for today's students. 12/15/13 Sunday Matinee: Dear Kitty
Visit the exhibit Anne Frank in the World for a free showing of Dear Kitty: An Educational Film About the Life & Diary of Anne Frank. (Anne Frank Center USA) This film tells the story of Anne Frank and her family. Through photos of the family, historical film material, and footage taken at the Anne Frank House, this film effectively tells Anne Frank's personal story in the context of the Holocaust. 2014 Art, Writing & Music Contest now open!
All middle and high school students throughout Georgia are invited to enter the Georgia Commission on the Holocaust's annual Art, Writing & Music Contest for 2014. All entries should answer the question "What are the Lessons of the Holocaust?" The submission deadline is March 4, 2014. Click here to read more...
