Governor Deal Visits Anne Frank House in Amsterdam
In July, Governor Nathan Deal and Mrs. Deal were guests at the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam. Governor Deal visited the cities of Zurich, Basel, Bern and Amsterdam, meeting with high-level government ministers and business leaders to explore business opportunities. Read more...

Tuskegee Exhibit Comes to Sandy Springs
The story of the celebrated Tuskegee Airmen -- the first African-American pilots to fly in combat during World War II -- is told in an exhibit that opens Tuesday, October 9 at the Anne Frank in the World exhibit in Sandy Springs. The exhibition, titled "The Tuskegee Airmen: The Segregated Skies of World War II," depicts the history and heroism of the airmen who began training in a segregated program at Tuskegee Army Air Field in 1941. The exhibit is on loan from Kennesaw State University and will be on view until December 20th, 2012. For more information please click here. For exhibit hours and directions click here. Cinemea's Exiles: From Hitler to Hollywood
October 28, 1pm at the Anne Frank in the World exhibit! Between 1933 and 1939, more than 800 film professionals escaped to Hollywood to take refuge from the Nazis. Join us for a special showing of PBS' documentary tracing the experiences of these exiles and examing their impact on both German and American cinemas. Admission is free. All audiences. Read more...

2013 Student Art, Writing, and Music Contest
The guidelines are up! All middle and high school students throughout Georgia are invited enter the Georgia Commission on the Holocaust's annual Art, Writing & Music Contest for 2013. All entries should express a response to the question "What are the lessons of the Holocaust?" Visit the website for more more details, guidelines, and submission forms. Print the flyer. Deadline: March 1, 2013.
