GOSA Announces Two New Grant Programs Community Partnership Grants
The Innovation Fund is pleased to announce Community Partnership Grants a new grant opportunity for public schools, school districts, and 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations. Community Partnership Grants provide between $35,000 to $75,000 over one to two years for eligible organizations in partnership with appropriate schools, districts, and community, state, or national organizations to implement programs focused on one of the following priority areas:
Birth to Age Eight Language and Literacy Development Coordinated Community Services Elementary Mathematics Teaching and Learning Positive Learning Climate Community Partnership Grants are made possible by the Innovation Fund Foundation and are funded with donations from the Qualified Education Donation Tax Credit. D3 Schools Project Grant GOSA is currently accepting applications until May 3rd for the Discover, Design, Develop (D3) Schools Grant Project. The D3 Schools Grant Project targeted for schools on the Turnaround Eligible List and high-need, rural schools and districts provides grantees $8,000 to participate in a year-long, GOSA-facilitated planning process where they will develop a program to address their school's or district's most urgent need. At the end of the planning process, grantees will have the opportunity to apply for up to $20,000 to pilot the program they developed. For more information, click here. Georgia Higher Learning and Earnings Dashboard Update The Georgia Higher Learning and Earnings (GHLE) dashboard and report provide earnings information for graduates of Georgia's universities and technical colleges who work in the state after earning their degrees. On the site, users can sort information by program of study/major, degree type, and Georgia public technical college or college/university attended. The dashboard also provides earnings information for the most popular and highest-earning degrees. In addition, GOSA published a research report that contains in-depth analyses at the degree, program, and college level. Among other analyses, the report includes comparisons in earnings between high school and college graduates, the most popular awards within the state, and the highest earning awards in the state. Additionally, GOSA released the GHLE Snapshot which provides a high-level overview of the data found within the full report.

Service Map for Childhood Health and Education in Georgia The Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH), one of Georgia's four health agencies serving the state's growing population of almost 10 million people, developed a Service Map for Childhood Health and Education in Georgia. The map was designed to help parents, caregivers, and others who work with children and families navigate and access various services that are available in Georgia. The map helps to address information challenges related to:
Insurance Prenatal, Infants, and Toddlers Early Head Start and Head Start Georgia's Pre-K Childhood Special Needs, and Other Community-Based Resources. To view the service map, click here.
