Free Workshops to Provide Grant Information
GCA to Host Live and Streaming-Video Informative Sessions
ATLANTA Georgia Council for the Arts will host three grant workshops for current and prospective clients of the agency. Information will be presented for eligible applicants interested in submitting an application for fiscal year 2008. Topics for discussion will include service and program areas, available funding, the application process, and more.
Eligible applicants include arts organizations or units of local or state government seeking operating support or project funding, schools, and other nonprofit organizations seeking support for arts projects, including the traditional arts. Applicants, other than units of government, must meet minimum eligibility requirements, including but not limited to incorporation in Georgia as a nonprofit organization.
Information will be presented by GCA Managers representing the agency's service and funding areas. Sharon Blake, GCA Grants Director, will facilitate the sessions. "Our agency provides these workshops as a service to our clients and potential clients each year," she states. "The information is greatly anticipated and appreciated by those who attend. The feedback we receive is extremely useful and assists the agency in improving the application process."
