State of the Arts: Georgia's Nonprofit Arts Community Responds to the Economic Crisis

The New eGRANT SYSTEM: How to Assemble the
Grant Proposal Package The first grant deadline using the new eGRANT SYSTEM has passed. This first phase of submission provided a number of important lessons, including a realization that many GCA applicants are still not clear on how to correctly attach components of the Grants Proposal Package to eGrant. News From Other States According to the Chronicle of Philanthropy, at least fortyone states expect budget shortfalls this year. Cost saving measures include elimination of travel, furloughs, and perhaps most significantly to the arts community, a reduction in grant award funding. Corporate Giving: Trends and Projections The LBG Research Institute published results of a survey taken of seventy major U.S. corporations in January.
