BY THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA

A PROCLAMATION

RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGY WEEK

WHEREAS:

The health of our citizens is a major concern and responsibility of health care professionals serving Georgia; and

WHEREAS:

Qualified practitioners who specialize in the use of medical radiation and imaging technology to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease share a commitment to deliver the best possible care to the people of our communities; and

WHEREAS:

Professionals in the radiologic sciences are dedicated to the highest standard of professionalism and continually maintain those standards through education, lifelong learning, personal commitment and earning credentials; and

WHEREAS :

Radiologic Technology Week provides an opportunity to bring focus on the safe medical radiation environment provided through the skilled and conscientious efforts of radiologic technologists; now

THEREFORE:

I, NATHAN DEAL, Governor of the State of Georgia, do hereby proclaim November 7-12, 2016, as RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGY WEEK in Georgia.

In witness thereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Seal of the Executive Department to be affixed this 24th day of October in the year of our Lord two thousand sixteen .
