A PROCLAMATION
AUCTIONEERS MONTH
The professional auctioneer has long been an important member to the business community, contributing to the economic wellbeing and to the preservation of the American free enterprise system; and
The Georgia Auctioneers Association, the National Auctioneers Association , and their members strive to advance the auction method of marketing. Auctioneers in the State of Georgia and the United States of America have continually ass isted their communities and charities through benefit auctions and public service; and
The Georgia Auctioneers Association, in cooperation with the National Auctioneers Association, promotes high standards of professionalism among its members and strives to provide the best possible service to the buying public; and
During the month of April, members of the Georgia Auctioneers Association will join with members of similar organizations across the country to observe Auctioneers Month; now
I, NATHAN DEAL, Governor of the State of Georgia, do hereby proclaim April 2013 as AUCTIONEERS MONTH in Georgia.
