A PROCLAMATION
CLINICAL NURSE SPECIALIST WEEK
WHEREAS: WHEREAS: WHEREAS:
There is a growing need for proper management of complex health issues with millions of Americans lacking health insurance, aging in population, and suffering from increased rates in chronic illnes ses ; and
Healthcare specialists seek to place a bigger emphasis on transparency in our healthcare delivery system while focusing on the quality of patient outcomes and increased cost efficiency; and
The influence of Clinical Nurse Speciali sts in improving the overall healthcare system has been wel l documented and highly regarded over an extended period of time; and
WHEREAS:
America's 72,000 Clinical Nurse Specialists are un iquely prepared with advanced degrees in nursing and maintain system-wide leadership skills as well as expertise in evidence-based practice; now
THEREFORE:
I, NATHAN DEAL, Governor of the state of Georgia, do hereby proclaim September 28, 201 2 as CLINICAL NURSE SPECIALISTS WEEK in Georgia and encourage our citizens to express their appreciation for the valuable work Georgia's nurses perform daily in service to their fellow man.
