For 50 years, LPS Laboratories has provided convenience-packaged maintenance chemicals to industrial aerospace, military, electrical, and telecommunications facilities worldwide. More than 40 of those years have been spent in Tucker, Georgia, where the company employs local citizens and contributes to our state's economy; and
Established in Los Angeles, California in 1961, the company moved to Tucker in 1968 and was later acquired by Illinois Tool Works. Today, LPS Laboratori es employs 63 Georgian s and offers eight categories of high performance maintenance chemicals such as lubricants, penetrants, cleaners, and degreasers. The companies Georgia cli entele includes Delta Airlines , KIA Motors, Lockheed Martin, Mayfield Dairy, the University of Georgia, and Georgia Tech; and
LPS Laboratories is also actively involved in the community. For three years, it has participated in junior Achievement at Livsey Elementary School and the Marietta Center for Advanced Academics. For 12 years, it has been involved in the United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta, raising over $25,000 . LPS Laboratories also works with the local fire department to raise firesafety aware ness; and
LPS Laboratories has had an outstanding presence in the State of Georgia. The company has had a positive impact on the local community, as well as the state as a whole; now
