EXECUTIVE ORDER

On May 14, 2019, Mr. Jim Beck was indicted on multiple felony counts in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia; and
On May 16, 2019,1 suspended Mr. Jim Beck from the office of the Commissioner of Insurance; and
Article II, Section III, Paragraph I of the Georgia Constitution authorizes the Governor to appoint a replacement officer for the duration of any suspension.
NOW, THEREFORE, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY VESTED in me as Governor of the State of Georgia, it is HEREBY
That John King is hereby appointed to serve as the replacement officer in the office of Commissioner of Insurance as provided in Article II, Section III, Paragraph I of the Georgia Constitution.
