THE STATE OF GEORGIA
EXECUTIVE ORDER
BY THE GOVERNOR:
Whereas:
The State of Georgia holds title to certain real property ("Property") by virtue of an Order and Judgement entered in a certain condemnation action, Civil Action No. 01-CV-679, which Order and Judgement was entered by the Superior Court of Thomas County, dated July 27, 2001, and filed July 20, 2001, in the Thomas County Clerk of Courts, which Order and Judgement was inventoried and recorded by the State of Georgia in Real Properties Record 009887.02; and
Whereas: Said Property is in the custody ofthe Technical College System of Georgia; and
Whereas:
The Property is improved with a house located at 184 Patterson Still Road (BLLIP ID # 48211) on the Thomasville Campus of the Southern Regional Technical College as shown in that aerial photograph attached hereto as Exhibit A, and incorporated herein by reference ("Structure"); and
Whereas: Said Structure has been identified by the Technical College System of Georgia as beyond repair and in need of demolition due to the recent tornado damage; and
Whereas: The State Board of the Technical College System of Georgia by Resolution dated April 4, 2019, declared the Structure surplus to its needs and requested approval for the demolition and removal of the Structure.
NOW, THEREFORE, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME AS Governor of the state of Georgia, it is hereby
Ordered:
The Technical College System of Georgia is authorized and directed to provide for the razing, demolition, and disposal of said Structure under the terms and conditions which are dfeemed to be in the best interests of the State of Georgia,
