Mr. Jim Beck was indicted on May 14, 2019, on multiple felony counts in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia; and
On May 16, 2019, Mr. Beck transmitted a letter to my office requesting to he suspended from the office of the Commissioner of Insurance.
NOW, THEREFORE, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME AS Governor of the State of Georgia, it is hereby
That Mr. Jim Beck is immediately suspended from the office of the Commissioner of Insurance pursuant to my authority in Article II, Section III, Paragraph I of the Georgia Constitution.
