THE STATE OF GEORGIA
EXECUTIVE ORDER
BY THE GOVERNOR:
WHEREAS:
The State of Georgia holds title to, and the Department of Public Safety ("DPS") is the custodian of approximately 0.849 of an acre lying and being in Land Lot 97 in the 3rd District of Spalding County, Georgia ("Property"), by virtue of a Deed of Gift, dated January 13, 1988, from the Griffin Expressway, Ltd. to the State of Georgia, being in Deed Book 879, pages 81-89, in the office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Spalding County, and being more fully defined as Tract 2 is that Deed of Gift and is further depicted in that survey attached hereto as Exhibit "A"; and
WHEREAS: Said Property is described and inventoried on file in Real Property Record #07507 in the office of the State Properties Commission; and
WHEREAS: The Technical College System of Georgia has requested that DPS transfer the Property; and
WHEREAS: Department of Public Safety, by resolution dated November 14, 2019, declared no further use, and authorized the surplus and transfer of the Property to the Technical College System of Georgia.
NOW,THEREFORE,PURSUANTTOTHEAUTHORTIYVESTEDINMEASGoVERNOR OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA, IT IS HEREBY
ORDERED:
That custody of the above-defined Premise located in Spalding County, Georgia is hereby transferred from the Georgia Department of Public Safety to the Technical College System of Georgia.
