EXECUTIVE ORDER
BY THE GOVERNOR:
FLAGS ON ALL STATE BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS ORDERED LoWERED TO HALF STAFF
WHEREAS: Airman Apprentice Cameron Scott Walters, 21, of Richmond Hill, Georgia, honorably served our country in the United States Navy; and
WHEREAS: WHEREAS:
Airman Apprentice Walters and 2 other sailors were tragically killed at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida on Friday, December 6, 2019; and
It is fitting and proper to recognize the sacrifices made by Airman Apprentice Cameron Scott Walters by lowering the flags on all State buildings and grounds to half-staff.
NOW, THEREFORE, IN HONOR AND AS A MARK OF RESPECT FOR THE MEMORY OF AIRMAN APPRENTICE CAMERON SCOTT WALTERS, PURSUANTTOTHEAUTHORITYVESTEDINMEASGOVERNOROFTHESTATE OF GEORGIA, IT IS HEREBY
ORDERED:
That the flag of the United States and the flag of the State of Georgia be flown at half-staff on all state buildings and grounds on Monday, December 16, 2019, the day of his interment.
