THE STATE OF GEORGIA
EXECUTIVE ORDER
BY THE GOVERNOR:
Whereas: There currently exists a dispute over the location of a boundary between Jackson County and Hall County; and
Whereas: Pursuant to O.C.G.A. 36-3-20, et. seq,, the Jackson County Clerk of Court has requested the appointment of an independent surveyor to clearly define a portion of the boundary between said counties; and
Whereas: The Secretary of State will negotiate with the appointed surveyor a rate for services to be rendered by the surveyor. The cost of services rendered by the surveyor will be split between Jackson County and Hall County. NOW, THEREFORE, PURSUANTTO THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME AS Governor of the State of Georgia, it is hereby
Ordered: That Mr. Tate Jones with LandAir Surveying Company be appointed as the surveyor to define the boundary line between Jackson County and Hall County. This ^ day of January, 2019.
