THE STATE OF GEORGIA
EXECUTIVE ORDER
BY THE GOVERNOR:
Whereas:
The State of Georgia holds title to, and the Technical College System of Georgia is the custodian of, approximately 0.2576 of an acre of improved real property, by virtue of a General Warranty Deed dated December 19, 2001, from the Downtown Development Authority of Alma, Georgia, being recorded in Deed Book 311, Pages 265-267, in the office of the Clerk of Superior Court of Bacon County and on file with the State Properties Commission Real Property Records as RPR # 009566.01 with an address of 426 & 428 W. 12th Street Alma, Georgia, and located Bacon County, Georgia, (hereinafter the "Property"), as more fully described in that survey attached hereto as Exhibit "A", which is incorporated herein by reference; and
Whereas: By Resolution from the Technical College System of Georgia dated Februaiy 4, 2016, the Property was declared surplus; and
Whereas:
By Resolution dated August 9, 2018, the Georgia Board of Community Health requested that custody of the Property be transferred from the Technical College System of Georgia to the Georgia Board of Community Health for use as office space for the staff of the Georgia Department of Community Health,
Now, therefore, pursuant to the authority vested in me as Governor
of the State of Georgia, rr is hereby
Ordered:
That custody of the above-defined Property located in Bacon County, Georgia is hereby transferred from the Technical College System of Georgia to the Georgia Department of Community Health.
