EXECUTIVE ORDER
BY THE GOVERNOR:
WHEREAS: WHEREAS: ORDERED:
By Executive Order dated August 3, 2015, a review commission was appointed to determine whether the indictment of Crawford County Coroner, Mr. David Allen O'Neal, related to and adversely impacted the administration of the office of county coroner pursuant to O.C.G.A. 45-5-6; and
By the report dated August 14, 2015, the commission unanimously recommended that Crawford County Coroner, Mr. David Allen O'Neal, be suspended from office under the provisions of O.C.G.A. 45-5-6.
NOW, THEREFORE, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME AS GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA, IT IS HEREBY
That Mr. David Allen O'Neal is hereby suspended from office immediately and without further action pending the final disposition of the case or until the expiration of his term of office~ whichever occurs first, as provided in O.C.G.A. 45-5-6(c).
