EXECUTIVE ORDER

On November 20,2015, Attorney General Sam Olens and the Georgia Department of Law, due to the potential conflict of interest in the matter Piper, et al v. Kemp, Civil Action File No. 2015CV168170, Superior Court of Fulton County, Georgia, declined representation of Secretary of State Brian Kemp; and
The Secretary of State has agreed to pay for the legal services of appointed outside counsel at a rate mutually agreed to by appointed counsel and the Secretary of State.
NOW, THEREFORE, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME as Governor of the State of Georgia, it is hereby
That Thomas E. Reilly, Mark Mao and Nick Phillips with the firm Troutman Sanders LLP be appointed Special Attorney Generals to represent Secretary of State Brian Kemp in the matter Piper, et al. v. Kemp, Civil Action File No. 2015CV168170, Superior Court of Fulton County, Georgia.
