Executive order, 2006 September 26

THE STATE OF GEORGIA
EXECUTIVE ORDER
BY THE GOVERNOR:
WHEREAS: On Sunday, September 3, 2006 at 2:20 am, Mr. Leroy Daniel, who was the victim of an apparent robbery, was shot and killed; and
WHEREAS: The Dekalb County Police Department has conducted an investigation and has been unable to generate any solid leads; and
WHERE AS: Section 45-12-35 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated provides that the Governor of the State of Georgia is authorized, in his discretion, to offer, and cause to be paid a reward for information leading to the identification, apprehension, and conviction of a person who has committed a felony.
NOW, THEREFORE, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME AS GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA. IT IS HEREBY
ORDERED: That a reward in the amount of $1,000.00 is hereby offered for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the individual/s responsible for the murder of Mr. Leroy Daniel.
