On August 15, 1999, Teresa Melissa Dean, age 11, disappeared from the neighborhood of her residence in Twiggs County, Georgia; and
An investigation led by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), and consisting of GBI, FBI, Twiggs County investigators, and ground personnel from several State agencies have been unable to locate the child; and
Section 45-12-35 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated provided that the Governor of the State of Georgia is authorized, in his discretion, to offer and cause to be paid a reward for information leading to the arrest and convictIon of any person or persons who have committed a felony in the State of Georgia,

ORDERED:

NOW, THEREFORE, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORlTY VESTED IN ME AS GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA, IT IS HEREBY
That a reward in the amount of $2,000.00 is hereby offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons
