Deal to give remarks, hold moment of silence in remembrance of 9/11
Flags ordered at half-mast on all state buildings
Gov. Nathan Deal will give remarks and hold a moment of silence Friday, Sept. 9, in remembrance of the victims of 9/11, and to honor those who serve our nation in uniform. Georgia Public Broadcasting will be streaming live from the state Capitol into Georgia classrooms across the state. Click here to visit the link.
Deal has ordered that all U.S. and Georgia flags on state buildings fly at half-mast. Flags are to be lowered Friday morning through sunset on Sunday, Sept. 11. The Executive Order is attached.
