State Board of Education to Hold a Hearing & Regular Meeting in July

July 11, 2012 -- The State Board of Education will hold a two day meeting Wednesday, July 18, 2012, and Thursday, July 19, 2012. All meetings will be held in the State Board Room, 2070 Twin Towers East. The State Board of Education will conduct a hearing for the Sumter County Board of Education in accordance with O.C.G.A. 20-2-73, relating to recommendations for potential suspension of local boards of education for governance related issues. The hearing will begin at 8a.m., on Wednesday, July 18, and is open to the public. Please see eBoard for committee meeting locations, board item information, and details.
