COVID-19 Update from Explore Georgia
As we continue working together across Georgia to mitigate the effects of COVID-19, Governor Brian P. Kemp last week launched the Georgia Safety Promise campaign to encourage Georgians and Georgia businesses to follow the latest health guidelines. By committing to the Georgia Safety Promise, residents, visitors, and businesses voluntarily agree to follow simple - yet critical - measures that help protect Georgians from the virus, minimize spread, and keep Georgia open for business.
"As we continue to fight COVID-19, we want to ensure Georgia businesses and the public are abiding by public health guidance in order to keep Georgia healthy and open for business," said Governor Kemp. "The Georgia Safety Promise is a pledge between business owners and the public to join together to maintain a safe environment following Georgia Department of Public Health and CDC guidelines. By working together, we can continue to protect the lives and livelihoods of all Georgians."

COVID-19 Update: 7-14-20
The Georgia Safety Promise is led by the Governor's office and supported by the Georgia Department of Health, Georgia Department of Economic Development, Explore Georgia, Georgia Bankers Association, Georgia Hotel & Lodging Association, Georgia Retailers Association, Georgia Restaurant Association, and Georgia NFIB to help keep Georgia safe and restore confidence.
We encourage you and your businesses to commit to the Promise. The process is quick; simply visit the Georgia Safety Promise website and complete the short form. No application is required. Businesses that make the Promise will receive a full digital toolkit of resources to share their commitment publicly with patrons, including social media posts, signage for their business, and more.
