Explore Your Georgia Campaign Continues
Next week, in support of the continuation of the Explore Your Georgia campaign, we will launch a new vacation giveaway, "Georgia's Great Escapes," that will showcase safe travel in Georgia through inspirational safecation guides and a chance for visitors to win a two-night, three-day stay in a beautiful Georgia community. We teamed up with five destination partners Atlanta, Blue Ridge, Milledgeville, Savannah and Thomasville to offer vacation packages that include lodging, attraction passes, and restaurant gift cards for two.
Explore Georgia continues to promote safe travel as the best way to explore the state during the COVID-19 pandemic, and encourages all visitors, residents and businesses to follow the Georgia Safety Promise, including wearing a mask, maintaining a social distance and washing hands. Read the full press release about the giveaway here.
The giveaway will run in conjunction with the extension of the Explore Your Georgia marketing campaign, which has been extended through the end of December. Since it began in late July, the campaign has surpassed all media efficiency and visitor engagement goals that were set. To build on this momentum, we are expanding this next phase into additional markets, including Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, Charlotte, N.C., and Raleigh, N.C. We will also continue to include Georgia and central and north Florida. The campaign remains 100% digital to allow for flexibility and responsiveness to consumer sentiment and health data and is targeted to people who have expressed an interest in travel and travel planning.
