Explore Georgia Update
Join us for Tourism, Hospitality and Arts Day at the Capitol on January 21, 2020, as representatives gather to foster awareness and convey the value our respective industries bring to the state. T he formal program, featuring remarks by Gov ernor Brian Kemp and including unveiling the 2020 Explore Georgia Travel Guide and tourism check presentation, will take place from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. in the North Wing. Please plan to arrive by 9:30 a.m., and as always, allow ample time to park and get through security.

Are you a Georgia film or television destination? Do visitors seek out your locations connected to a Georgia actor, producer, film or television production? If so, join us for a Georgia Film Trail Planning Meeting on T uesday, December 17 from 9:30 a.m. 11:30 a.m. in Atlanta to discuss strategies to grow film tourism in Georgia. To RSVP and for more film trail meeting details, email Cheryl Hargrove at chargrov e@georgia.org by Monday, December 16. In advance, please complete a short 18-question surv ey to share your comments and help shape the discussion for our December 17 Georgia Film T rail planning meeting.
