July 2018

The heat is on! Yes, I'm talking about the good old Georgia summertime heat, but also the fact that Monday is the last day to qualify for early-bird pricing for this year's Governor's Tourism Conference. Sign up now while the discount is hot!
You may also want to join me in congratulating Morgan Law, who has directed the work of the Georgia Travel Association (GATA) since its inception. Morgan has been promoted to a new role within the Georgia Chamber as part of their restructuring, and we are welcoming Kelsey Moore as GATA's new executive director, as well as several other new staff members. With the elections this fall and new legislative and executive leadership taking office in January, now would be a strategic time to join GATA and help shape our industry's legislative agenda and voice. For more information on joining, contact GATA's Kate Coffey at kcoffey@gachamber.com or (404) 210-7318.
