Now available: FY2015 Tourism Product Development Agreement Application The Tourism Product Development (TPD) Agreement program is designed to financially support sustainable tourism development activities at the local level that maintain and/or create jobs, attract tourists (visitors from outside of the community), and enhance the tourist's experience. TPD support will go to projects that are near completion in planning and/or execution. Complete applications must be submitted by July 31, 2014, at midnight via e-Grant. 2. Register today for the RTA Grant Ad Showcase and Leadership Conference Complete your volunteer chores for the next fiscal year all at once July 29-30, 2014, in Americus. Learn about the Regional Travel Association Grant Ad Program, and share/learn about best practices among Georgia's RTAs. Registration is free; travel and hotel are on your own. Book your room at the Best Western Plus Windsor Hotel in Americus by July 18!
3. How to distribute your brochures at Georgia's Visitor Information Centers On July 1, an updated policy went into effect for distributing marketing collateral at each of Georgia's 11 Visitor Information Centers. Review the new procedures and requirements for submitting your brochures to the VICs.
4. Travel Tuesday deals on social media The Georgia Tourism Team is highlighting the new ExploreGeorgia.org DEALS section each Tuesday on Twitter and Pinterest! Follow @ExploreGeorgia on Twitter and watch for the #TravelTuesday Featured Deal each week. You can also keep an eye on the Georgia Travel Deals Pinterest board. For a chance to be included in #TravelTuesday, post your deals to ExploreGeorgia.org through the Partner Admin.
