In April GDEcD announced the 100th community to be designated Entrepreneur Friendly, as part of National Small Business Week. A total of 133 communities around the state are anticipated to join the program through August in a process that helps them become more welcoming to small businesses and entrepreneurs. Read more
The inaugural Southeastern United StatesCanadian Provinces conference will kick off June 15-17 in Savannah, Georgia as Governor Perdue hosts this historic event. SEUSCanada will promote trade, investment, tourism, educational and friendship ties among the six Southeastern states and seven Canadian provinces in the alliance. Read more
