Keep Your Vision in Check
Our sight is a sense that some people may take for granted. If you have never worn glasses, you may not realize how difficult life can be when your vision is not 20/20. But what happens when you need more than glasses to see? To protect your vision, consider scheduling an eye exam today.

January is Glaucoma Awareness Month
When was the last time you went to the eye doctor and had a full exam? If you've been putting it off for economic reasons, or because you're afraid of going, it's time to reconsider and think of yourself and your eye health. Why? We are very dependent on our eyes all our lives to see and interpret our world. And, as you age, it is very important that your eye doctor check regularly for an eye disease called glaucoma.
Glaucoma is not a new disease; it has been around a long time and it is considered incurable and leads to blindness if not detected early and

treated. Sometimes there are no symptoms. That's why it's important to be sure an exam for glaucoma is included in your visit with your eye doctor. The test is as simple as getting a quick puff of air blown in each eye, is painless and takes less than a couple minutes.
As always we have resources you can use to find out more information about glaucoma:
