The Power of PeachCare for Kids
When you meet Martin Michaels, M.D., in his pediatrics office in Dalton, Ga., it is obvious how much he cares about the youngsters he treats. He is a firm believer that all children need optimal care. He is also an enthusiastic supporter of Medicaid and PeachCare for Kids and their benefits for families who have little or no health insurance. To try to show our parents how amazing they are, the five of us recently banded together and remodeled their home. With the storm doors installed, my parents' home was finally finished on June 7, 2011. Seven days later, on June 14, my parents' home burned down. Read more
